Mission Bodofa UN Brahma Super 50 Engineering: The Chief Executive Member (CEM) of BTC, Pramod Boro, launched a project called ‘ Bodofa UN Brahma Super-50’ to help economically weaker students in five districts of BTR. The project will provide free coaching and mentorship for 11 months to help them get admission to top engineering colleges. He also laid the foundation stones for digital archives to preserve the history and identity of Bodoland.

Free Coaching of IIT JEE Main and Advanced

The Bodofa UN Brahma Super 50 is a super initiative via BTR government for 11 months coaching for 50 meritorious engineering aspirants hailing from the Bodoland Territorial Region. The coaching for the students will be free and will be instructed by the experienced faculties for the subjects:

1. Physics
2. Chemistry
3. Mathematics.

The Coaching will help the candidates in preparation to crack the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and Advanced. For the session 2023-24 the students will be guided by the expert instructors.

Reservation of Seats

The Super 50 scheme sets some limitations for the reservation of seats for each categories of people living in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR).

• 70% reservation for the ST candidates of BTR
• 30% Reservation for other categories dwelling in BTR.

Eligibility Criteria

The Mission Super 50 scheme sets some eligibility criteria in order to register for the free coaching class. We have listed a bunch of Super 50 eligibility criteria which are as follows:

• The Applicant must secure 60% or above in the Class 10 / Matriculation examination; valid only for ST/ SC/ OBC/ EWS
• For General candidates who secured70% and higher in the class 10/ HSLC examination.
• The candidates must belong from Bodoland Territorial Regin (BTR)
• The Applicant must be in his/her Class 12/ Higher Secondary (HS) final year appearing for the subject Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Selection Process

The Super 50 scheme is a great initiative of BTR government, an aid to the weaker section of society. The Mission Super 50 is designed to shape and guide the needy talent students who were left out due to financial means. The Selection process will follow:

1. Written Examination
2. personal Interview

The Selection process will be based on the Written examination. students in order to get admission must accomplish the test successfully. In the below table we have shared the syllabus for the written test.

The paper will comprise of 40 MCQs question with a duration of 1.5hrs for the above mentioned subjects containing of 10 Marks in each subjects. The candidate appearing for Super 50 written test may be aware as the test will consist of +4 marks for the correct answers along with inclusion of negative marking as well.

Final Process of Selection

To select candidates for admission, their performance in the SET-BS50 2023 (70%) and an interview (30%) will be considered. The top ten candidates from each district will be selected based on their score. To maintain gender equality, an equal number of male and female candidates will be chosen, which means 50%for boys and 50% for girls.
