Assam 6th Schedule TET 2023: Assam TET examination for 6th schedule areas (BTR, Dima-Hasao and Karbi Anglong). Last Date – 25 March 2023.
Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) will be conducted specially for the people of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), Dima Hasao, and Karbi Anglong. These 6 districts belong to the six scheduled areas in Assam.
Note: BTR comprise of four districts of Assam, namely Kokrjahar, Chirang, Baksa, and Udalguri.
The Assam Government, on 28 Feb 2023, announced to conduct of a special TET examination 2023 for the Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) Levels. 6th Schedule Areas (BTR, Dima-Hasao and Karbi Anglong) who are willing to participate in the special TET exam can now apply through online application. The candidates who qualify for the TET Exam 2023 will be eligible to participate in the recruitment process for the post of teachers of LP schools and UP schools located in the six Schedule area, provided they have other academic and professional qualifications as per NCTE norms.
The TET 2023 application is online. The online application starts on 5 March 2023, and the deadline for submitting the TET application form is 25 March 2023. Candidates can check out the requirements and apply for Assam TET Exam 2023.

Qualifications

Marks Relaxation
If you have scored bit less either in your Class 12/Graduation/D.El.Ed/B.Ed and is worried about it, then the government has issued a 5% relaxation on the marks for certain categories of people. You can have a look in the below shared image.
Other Eligibility Criteria
Apart from the Assam TET exam educational qualification shared above, there are certain other criteria you need to fulfil in order to be eligible for appearing in the exam. If you meet those criteria then only apply for it, otherwise your application will get rejected.
