The Joint MCA Entrance Examination (JMEE) is an entrance exam conducted by the Assam Science and Technology University for admission into 1st Semester Class of MCA in the colleges of the State of Assam like Assam Engineering College, Jorhat Engineering College, Jorhat and Girijananda Institute of Management and Technology, Guwahati for the session 2023-2024. Educational Qualification and other Criteria
- It is mandatory for the candidates that they must have passed a recognized computer application degree or any other BCA/B.Com/Computer Science with a minimum 3 years duration from any other institution affiliated to State Council of Technical Education (SCTE), Assam.
- A minimum of 50% marks must be scored in the Qualifying Degree Examination (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category).
- Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of Minimum 3 years duration with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation. The candidate must pass Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or at Graduation.
- Only permanent residents of Assam will be allowed to participate in the Assam JLEE 2023 entrance exam.
- Candidates appearing in the final exams of their diploma/degree course can also appear for the exam but have to submit their original mark sheet along with the passing certificate of the final diploma as stipulated.

The Assam Science and Technology University has released the Assam JMEE application form 2023 in online mode on the official website on May 22. Applicants who will successfully fill the application form can appear for the Assam JMEE exam 2023. Here is a step-a-step guide to fill the application form of Assam JMEE 2023.
- Applicants need to enter their personal details like name, parent’s name, date of birth (age as of July 1, 2023), permanent residence proof of Assam, address, nationality, category, and preferred exam center.
- Applicants should upload required documents in a specified format issued by the authorities.
- Once the application form is filled by the candidates, they will be redirected to the payment page. Candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs. 1500 in online mode only. Candidates can pay the fee through net banking/credit card/debit card.
Note: Instead of sending a copy of the JMEE application form 2023 or any other document to the authorities, candidates must take a printout of the filled-in application form.
