Written Exam: Written test for Assam police Driver recruitment will consist of 100 MCQ type questions to be answered on an OMR answer sheet. For each correct answer the candidate will get half mark. Questions level will be class 1X and X. Total marks for the written exam will be 50 marks. There will be no negative marking
PST: After every documents are found correct, the applicant will have to appear in the Physical Standard Test(PST). It will carry no marks. Measurement of the height, weight and chest of the candidate and examined by a Medical Officer for preliminary check ups like knock knee, vision test, color blindness test, flat foot, varicose vein, physical deformities etc
PET:
Applicant who have cleared PST, will be required to undergo PET. The PET Consist of the following:
The physical Efficiency Test will carry 40 marks.
- a) Race: Those who qualify in the PST will be subjected to 3200 metres race to be completed within 14 minutes (840 Seconds)
- b)Long Jump: Minimum 335 cm for long jump (3 chances to be given and the longest valid rounded off to the nearest cm will be considered for awarding marks).
Driving Test: Candidate who have cleared Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will be called for Driving Test.
Oral: Once the candidate has merit for driving or skill Test they will be called for Oral/Viva Voice Test for final selection.
