Assam Rifles, Shillong has published an advertisement for special recruitment under the Compassionate Ground Appointment Scheme.
This Assam Rifles recruitment is applicable for eligible dependent family members of
ASSAM RIFLES PERSONNEL KILLED IN ACTION, DIED WHILE IN SERVICE, DISCHARGED FROM SERVICE ON MEDICAL GROUNDS, AND MISSING WHILE IN SERVICE.
Interested eligible candidates from the country (India) are invited to apply for enrolment into various Grade C posts at the Assam Rifles through the Compassionate ground appointment scheme. The last date of receipt of applications from eligible candidates is 12 Mar 2022.

Only one dependent family member of ASSAM RIFLES personnel who were KILLED
IN ACTION, DIED WHILE IN SERVICE, DISCHARGED FROM SERVICE ON MEDICAL
GROUNDS AND MISSING WHILE IN SERVICE are eligible to apply for Compassionate ground appointment in Assam Rifles.
Qualification | Age Limit

OR b. 12th Standard or Intermediate or equivalent with aggregate marks of fifty percent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from a recognized board or University or Institution. Trade (Skill) Test Norms Practical knowledge of the trade incl examining malfunctioning of radio eqpt, to locate defects such as loose connections, broken wires, or burned-out components, using of test eqpts, install, adjust, repair mobile radio transmission, radio signal receiving eqpts, radio communication systems, remove & replace defective components and parts such as conductors, resistors, semiconductors and integrated circuits using hand tools, repair circuits, wiring and soldering will be assessed by the Trade (Skill Test) Board. | 18-25 years |

Pay Scale
The Assam Rifles Compassionate ground recruited candidates Salary / Payscale and other allowance will be as admissible to Assam Rifles Personnel.
Selection Process
A recruitment rally will be held for the selection of candidates into Assam Rifles where the candidates will be selected via:
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Trade (Skill) Test
- Medical Examination Test (MET)
Note: Candidates applying under the COMPASSIONATE GROUND APPOINTMENT scheme will be exempted from the WRITTEN EXAM TEST

Steps to apply for Assam Rifles
- Candidates are required to go through the Official Notification at the Official website of the Assam Rifles.
- Application needs to reached the mentioned address on or before 12 March 2022.
- In the Official Notification, there is an APPLICATION FORM for the Compassionate Ground Appointment, Print it and fill the form.
- Candidates shall submit their offline applications as per format attached alongwith self attested copies of educational certificate, domicile certificate, caste certificate, diploma/technical/lTl certificate (as applicable) of the trade in accordance with Qualitative Requirements, incl one xerox copy of photo lD i.e. AADHAAR, PANA/oter lD/ Driving license etc to the address mentioned below:
