CBSE Central Sector Scholarship 2023:-Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started accepting online applications for the Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship (CSSS) for College and University Students for the year 2023-24. The last date to submit online application form is 31 December 2023

CBSE Central Sector Scholarship 2023 Notification

The CBSE has released a notification of online application for the Central Sector Scheme of Scholarships for College and University Students at their official website National Scholarship Portal (NPS) https://scholarships.gov.in/. Interested and eligible student can apply online before or on 31 December 2023.

The Central Sector Scholarship Scheme Disburses Scholarships to 80,000 graduates and post graduates students every year and it is given in equal proportion to both gender, i.e. 41,000 of the total number are reserve for male students and 41,000 are for female Students. The The selected students will receive an annual Scholarship amount up to Rs 20,000 so that they could meet their dat to day expenses while pursuing higher studies.

Eligibility Criteria

Interested candidates can check the eligibility Criteria of the CBSE Central Sector Scholar Scheme for College and University Students are given below:

  • Students who are above the 80th percentile of successful candidates in the relevant stream from a particular Board of Examination in Class 12
  • Student must be a regular courses (not correspondence or distance mode)
  • Students Having a family income of less than Rs 4.5 lakh per annum
  • Students not receiving any other scholarship or fee reimbursement of any kind
  • Diploma students are not eligible under this scheme.

How to Apply CBSE Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship 2023?

Interested and eligible candidates can apply CBSE Scholarship application form online through the NSP website @scholarships.gov.in.

Follow the given below steps to fill out the CSSS Application Form 2023.

  • First go to the NSP official website https://scholarships.gov.in/
  • Check the Applicant Corner section and Click ‘Fresh’ If your a new user otherwise click ‘Renewal’ if you are a old user.
  • After that you can “register” by Clicking Register in next page.
  • If registration is successfully done than login by registered User ID and Password.
  • Fill up all the required details and submit the application form.
  • At last after submission print or save the hard copy of application form for future reference.
